York and North Yorkshire have an exciting new gateway to arts, culture and heritage with the launch of the Cultural Passport for Young People programme website, developed by City of York Council.

The Cultural Passport website serves as the central hub for organisations wishing to deliver activities through the programme.

Arts, culture and heritage organisations can access funding guidance, submit grant applications and keep up to date with key application dates and programme information.

Funding for young people's projects

The grant funding programme is designed to give young people aged 11 to 18 free access to a wide range of creative and cultural activities across the region.

By connecting young people with inspiring experiences, the initiative aims to encourage creativity, build confidence and improve access to the area's rich cultural and heritage offer, supporting the wider ambition of making culture accessible to everyone.

The launch marks an important step in strengthening York and North Yorkshire's cultural sector while ensuring more young people can experience the life-changing benefits of creativity, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
